Jeff Beck's favourite guitarist, and long time Adastra act Martin Taylor appeared live on BBC Radio 2 earlier this morning as 'Mystery Guest' on the Chris Evans breakfast show - playing 3 live tracks.
When asked who his personal favourite guitarist was, 'Mystery Guest' of Tuesday Jeff Beck championed Martin - thus his appearance on air today!
Martin Taylor is currently on route to Northumberland, where he will be appearing at Alnwick Playhouse this evening.
World Music Network plan to release the 'Rough Guide to English Folk Music' CD next month (21st June). It's a double CD - volume 1 being "Various Artists" and volume 2 being a unique Coope, Boyes & Simpson compilation!
Also, the BBC have now also put out publicity about their tribute to Bob Dylan to mark his 70th birthday. Presented by Mark Radcliffe, it features new recordings of tracks from his album The Freewheeling Bob Dylan and includes an a-cappella version of "Oxford Town" by Coope, Boyes & Simpson.
