Author & Crime Writer - Creator of Inspector Banks

Peter Robinson is one of the top writers of crime fiction in the world. He is the author of sixteen Inspector Banks novels, all of them published to international acclaim from both reviewers and readers. Robinson was born in Yorkshire and emigrated to Canada in the late 1970s. He now spends his time between his homes in Toronto and Richmond in Yorkshire.  In the Summer of 2006 he joined forces with folk diva Eliza Carthy to present a show at the Beverley Folk Festival in Yorkshire. In this Peter read one of his short stories, whilst Eliza provided fitting songs and music to add to the drama.
