Martin Peirson
biography
I joined the team just ahead of the Beverley Folk Festival 2006 to give a hand with marketing and promotion after working in the media industry for a number of years. Following the success of the event I continued to work on festival admin plus the feedback and analysis. From mid September 2006 I took on admin tasks for Adastra helping to keep the agency running efficiently. I also took on some agency work for a number of Adastra acts and have been heavily involved with organising tours for all our musicians. This sometimes includes dates in other parts of the world and I have been lucky enough to join acts in
For a number of years I have organised local music venues The Processed Pea and Cherry Burton Arts, and can still occasionally be persuaded to strap on an acoustic and knock out a song or two. I`m still involved with production, songwriting and recording when time permits.
