'Absolutely fantastic, this band is going far.' - David McAlmont

Barcode Zebra are a Yorkshire-based four-piece band who write and play original material - imagine the love-child of Tracy Chapman and the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Described as "funky acoustic soul with a feel-good vibe", Jess Gardham’s fabulous band have been constantly raising their profile with key performances at top festivals including Beverley, Broadstairs, Hull Freedom and Galtres plus their own headline gigs nationally. Jess has also toured further afield – including Canada, Holland & Germany, and has supported a number of internationally recognised musicians including David McAlmont, KT Tunstall, and Paul Carrack.

Hailing from York, North Yorkshire, Jess Gardham has been passionate about music for as long as she can remember. She began writing songs at the age of 12, when her dad taught her to play the guitar so she could accompany herself.

The band has just released their debut album INTO THE NIGHT and will be touring throughout the UK and Europe to promote it. With several major festivals already booked for 2013 Jess Gardham is a name you’ll certainly be seeing much more of.
